Dubai – Mubasher: The real estate and bank blue-chip stocks weighed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Tuesday.
By the end of the mid-week session, the DFM’s general index dipped 16.37 points, or 0.62%, to 2,623.47 points.
The banks sector shed 0.68% as Emirates NBD fell by 0.91%, and the real estate sector went down 0.87% as Emaar Properties fell 1.34%.
Similarly, the investment sector inched down 0.9% when Arabtec tumbled 1.35%.
Trading volume amounted to nearly 55.833 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 122.037 million.
